about

This is probably my least-liked record, but I've come to terms with it. Some of it works, some doesn't.

I think it's conceptually interesting, being an in-depth examination of my lifelong struggle with obsessive-compulsive disorder (as related in joke form). Unfortunately, I was trying to do way too many things with the 4-track, but without taking the time necessary to perfect them. The result is a confusing pish-posh of 10-second musical snippets interspersed with lazy, shaky triple-harmony vocals. You can't even tell where one song ends and the next begins!

However, I've discovered that it sounds pretty good on headphones. At least you're able to tell that I had a concept for each song, even if I was too inept to pull it off.
